How to Translate Manhwa to English on Windows & Mac (2026 Guide)

As we all know, with Bato down, we have lost access to many English manhwa, especially the more niche titles.

In this short guide, I'll show you how to translate any manhwa into English (or your preferred language) using Manhwa Translator and its browser extension. This method works on both Windows and Mac.

Step 1: Install the Extension

First, visit the Chrome Web Store and install the Manhwa Translator Extension.

Step 2: Open a Manhwa Site and Capture

Go to any manhwa website you like. It works on Ridibooks, Lezhin, Bomtoon, MangaDex, or even sites like Diva Scans and Flame Scans.

1. Open the chapter you want to read. For example: https://www.bomtoon.com/viewer/bl_smrz/1
2. Click the extension icon and press the Capture button.

The extension will automatically scroll through the chapter and capture all the images for you. You just need to wait a moment for it to finish.

Step 3: Send to Manhwa Translator

Once the capture is complete, you'll see a button that says "Translate on Manhwa Translator". Click it.

This will take you to the Manhwa Translator studio. If you haven't logged in before, you'll need to sign in to continue.

Step 4: Translate and Read

On the translation page:

1. Select your target language (e.g., English).
2. Click the Submit Translation button.
3. Wait a few minutes for the process to complete.

The tool will translate all the images at once. When it's done, you can read the chapter directly in your browser, or download the images as a ZIP or CBZ file to read later.
